Very nice, I guess the purists will say it's been played with too much, I think I prefer the original look, but I bet it shifts and sounds nice! Certainly had some money spent on it! James

Nice, but like you said James, if you're going to shell out your hard earned I think you'd want a original condition example.

Quite right LRA. Thumbs Up

Not my cup of tea at all.

But I've realised that senility does affect one's taste, because I was tempted by this. Shocked

There is a std one near me, I wave at the old chap driving it regularly in mine.

Never seen him to talk to but it sounds great even in std form.

I 'need' to try and have a chat with him.... do people know they are worth this much? He uses it regularly as I see him a lot driving round.

Imho std is better for this car. If you wanted a tricked about one just do that to a normal one.

(I would still love to have a quick trip round the block in it......)

There are a few on ebay at the moment, two of which appear to be close to std and £36k and £39k respectively. Its a nice overall package. For that money I'm strangely drawn to a Lotus Esprit Turbo S3 at the moment. My mum (read Dad) had one when I was about 13, a 1987 (D27 NJV) in silver with red interior. They were had for buttons a few years ago but have really shot up in value recently to £30-40k.
