Removing the 3rd row seats - seatbelts
I've finally convinced SWMBO that the last remaining 3rd row seat should come out to give us more space for carrying boxes when we attend her wool/yarn gatherings, so the plan is to crack on tonight.

My question is, what have others done with the seatbelts?

Currently the one that I have already removed I've left the seatbelt in place, but in reality its taking up usable space and if left there likely to get damaged/snagged on something in the future.

Hi, I took both seats out very soon after getting the 110.
I unfastened the bottom belt point, on top of the wheel arch. Reeled the belt in nearly all the way. Then tucked the eye/bracket on the free end of the belt behind the top of window trim panel, at the roof rail level.
They've been like that for 3 years, never once fallen out, and they're up in the top corners out of the way.

The trim panels didn't have to come out to remove the whole belt, and if the seats ever do go back in, they just need 1 bolt to put it back as it was. If I can find the bolts! Very Happy

Or take the trim off and remove them completely as I eventually did Thumbs Up Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...
