I agree the standard TD5 is left wanting particularly on hills, so a bit more power is welcome. I’d like to fit an overdrive for motorway use. I tried a 90 with a Disco transfer box but l found reverse gear too high, it’s a good option though as it is fairly cheap to do.

I did get gwyn lewis’ light weight steerin rods, and sure i should check my weight but i have seen others runnin heavier and gettin away with more.

My fuel pump is to arrive on wednesday, will swap it out as well as the crank sensor and see if my illments go away and i have more power to play with.

Naf bin the Rack, does wonders for MPG.

You tried having a dual Air feed? Like a 200TDI front left fender and running into a dual feed airbox? I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

Duel feed boxes create turbulant air flow a mess with the sensor readings. 102mm intake is far better.

Has it been remapped? Instagram @defender_ventures
