Another voluntary recall for hand brake!
I got a letter advising of a voluntary recall - the 1st anniversary of the original - for certain hand brake parts to be repaired &/or replaced. (Will be done on annual service)

So taking account of the original construction, this will be the 3rd version!

I have had no trouble, but might as well have the free upgrade. Out of warranty soon, I'm considering the Xtreme disc hand brake.

I've also been sent extended warranty options. Has anyone here done that, & if so, what was your reason? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
