They are Superseal connectors. Can get a proper crimping tool for eco and superseal connectors. Can be crimped with needle pliers etc with care. However if badly crimped or distorted then will not fit into the plastic housing properly.

I did all of my Econoseal connectors with needle nose pliers, mainly because haveca better feel of how tight they are and for precision. I’ve never had an issues with any at all.
For high current loads the smaller Anderson connectors and rubber boots are extremely good if fitted properly. The joint between the two plugs can be sealed using one wind of high quality electrical tape with a tear off tab. Then you can rapidly remove if needed. And use the Anderson dust caps as a temporary protection. But I do like to go overkill on such things for maximum voltage and with low losses. Do you really need connectors there? How often do you plan to disconnect the connector? These connectors are fine, but for remove "once in five years", standard (spade, faston or how it is called) connector and some heatshrink tubing with glue inside is also good. Cheap and easy to mount, and very small. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo

Connectors definitely needed. I change my mind on front lighting setup about twice a day. I’ve had the grille off more times than I can count. Current spots are only interim items so will get replaced at some point. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
