United Kingdom 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Java Black
90 300tdi rear mudflaps
My 90 is up for sale at the moment but I can see me keeping it.

I want to put a set of rear mudflaps on it (I don’t think they look right without it), my question is, do they have the cut out for the exhaust like the Puma ones or are they straight?

I bought genuine LR mudflaps for mine and they are a straight cut. Matt.

Senior moment. Just been out to the garage and mine DOES have a cut out around the exhaust, sorry about that.

My 300 Tdi doesn't have the cut-out in the rear LH flap and the exhaust doesn't need it.

Which was the original spec - as mudflaps get replaced quite often?

Mine didn't have rear mudflaps when I bought it but when I went to an LR parts dealer he told me these were the correct genuine flaps for my vehicle. 10,000 miles later and they have no soot on them so no problem with where the exhaust exits

Would it matter if I put one on my Puma that doesn’t have a cut out? As I prefer the full flap look

Yes, as the end of the exhaust will be pointing straight at it, like this:
