2009 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Stornoway Grey

[For Sale] 2015 90 xs with over £7k of upgrades

Back in the spring of 2017 I got the itch for a bowler spec 90, I test drove one with a stage one remap, loved the look of the car but found it to be a disappointing drive (the power wasn't smooth and at low revs it stuttered and jolted) plus it was very expensive! So I set about looking base 90xs I could enhance, this is it.

However it's turned into a bit of a garage queen, and being spoilt for defenders to choose I'm not using it enough to justify keeping it, as such here it is:

Registered March 2015
Mot March 2019
19,300 miles
I'm the second owner (purchased it at 9k)
Usual xs features plus:
Full dimitrol treatment by Chris at cc
Premium seats
Exmoor trim canvas seat covers (currently drying in the conservatory)
Black roof lining (can't spell it)
Bas stage 2 remap
Bas hi flow intercooler & silicon pipes
Dab radio with Bluetooth phone
"Americam" Reversing camera
Aftermarket immobiliser
Mounded particular Interior panneling on rear sides
Front and rear mats
Mantec swing away wheel carrier
Nas spec rear step & tow bar
Bowler wheels, sills, bumper and steering guard
Bfg all terrian ko2 265,75,r16 (less than 9,000 Miles use)

I purchased it at 9,000 miles, it had just been serviced by an independent, I then had it serviced by an independent Land Rover specialst who maintains a number of defenders and discos for my business
I'd rate it as excellent condition, it drives extremely well, the remap and intercooler enhance the power significantly
There's a couple of light scratches on both front wings, and a few minor scratches in the tub. no dents
There's a minor nick in the drivers door card and the passenger side of the cubby box has been nibbled by my puppy
I got a quote of around £600 fir respraying both wings and tub bulkhead, but think the wing scratches could be sorted by mobile paint expert.

Being owned by my business there is vat in the sale of this 90, that should make it an attractive purchase if your purchasing through a company and can reclaim the vat, I appreciate if you have to absorb the vat then it's significantly less attractive...sailor v

It's been a real struggle pricing this, but here's what I think I want back from it

GLWTS that really is a great looking Defender. I think you might regret selling it - Garage Queens don’t mind mind infrequent use if they are well maintained and used properly when they do go out.

Agreed but i spend so much time cleaning it (a pointless pastime I feel) so i revert to other transport when taking the dogs out

Particularly the big one with a shaggy coat and generally poor hygiene even by k9 standards
