Switzerland 2005 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Zambezi Silver
Headlining, window trim (2005 90 SW TD5)
Hello everyone,
I have just bought a 2005 Defender 90 SW TD5 but the car is missing interior parts.
It was removed, most specifically the whole headlining and panel trim.
I have found some parts from several suppliers but the part numbers are somehow confusing, the picture is not always correct regarding the description of the part, or may not be compatible with my car.
Any help regarding the correct part number for my car as well as the better supplier would be appreciated :

- Headlining (non sunroof) : I need all the pieces (I think it should be in 3 pieces: front, middle, and rear end above the rear door)
- rear windows surround trim (they say that the later parts available for forward facing seats are compatible with my inward facing seats, is that correct?)
- 2 individual inward facing XS 1/2 leather seats
- original manufacturer lap belts for above iward facing seats
- 1 original XS repair seat cover

Thanks for your help, cheers from Switzerland Alex

I can't help with part numbers but this statement is not correct. Inward facing seats will not fit with the trim for the later forward facing seats. The lower edge of the later trim is a very different shape. Darren

This is what I thought, I asked several times to be sure but the guy from Bearmach kept on saying it would be OK, he also provided parts Nr. for the headlining, but I also doubt it fits mine. They are for post 2007 Defenders, though they might be compatible :

Hello Alexandre,

BA 8000 will still be compatible.

also worth looking at LaSalle trim over the standard items. I swapped all of mine out a few years ago and they do the correct trim for inward facing seats. The forward facing trim is totally different and as said already it will fit the car physically, but the cut outs are in the wrong places for the seats and your head

They're made of fiberglass and you can choose quite a few different colours and options

A little more expensive, but will last forever - plus no more saggy headlining! 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320
