Roof tent
Hi I have a Hannibal roof tent on my 110 on a Flat dog roof rack which I have modified to bolt onto plates to secure.Im looking any ideas for a quick release system to enable removal of tent quickly as my knuckles couldn't stand another 2 hrs undoing bolts in the small gap under rack . I looked at the front runner system but not sure it will fit my set up .

Ta.

Nakatanenga Cargo bear roof tent quick mounting system here

For the Peterborough LRO show I dropped a clanger and mouted a roof lodge exo tent so it opened over the passenger side. Only problem was also had a foxwing mounted on nearside! Ooops

So undo 8 bolts (no skinned knuckles) rotate tent through 180 degrees and replace 8 bolts. Less then minutes for two of us.

I've decided our roof tent is easier clamped to bars so 6 easy to reach gutter bolts and you can lift the tent and bars off in one. Might not suit your needs though. James

Just had a look, not really following from the description, from pics looks like your left with square on top of rack and whole tent sits higher? Cheers

Cargobear tent mounting system consists of two squares. One fixed to roof bars and an interlocking square to base of tent. Eight allen headed bolts lock the two squares together. Comes with a long allen key driver. Once squares are fitted it is literally just a few minutes to undo the bolts ready for lifting roof tent off. It does lift roof tent up about 40mm.
