Bargain Thumbs Up

Should this be linked to the thread ‘How do you spend / waste your money’ Rolling with laughter

If that’s what you want, who am I to question? Laughing but that is a lot of money. It does look neat and I would have one if they were about £300 but £950?

I am paranoid about leaving my truck anyway but with one of those slotted into it, I don’t think I would ever park it out of my eye site ever again Surprised

I'll be installing one in the future without a doubt - I'm so past the cheap looking double din touch phase! Evil or Very Mad Stuart

Getting all nostalgic now Smyles_ Very Happy

My mate had something like that in his Peugeot 305 sometime around 1989. So many happy memories.

I don't like the factory fitted Alpine, but mine still has one of those in it. It is a bit problematic so I expect I will have to make a change at some time in the future.

Blimey! I do like the classic look, and could do with a reversing camera but that will take a bit of swallowing especially as I can’t use the sub directly with it. Big Cry

That is smart. I had a similar thing in a 205 GTI. You know those cars you wish you’d never sold?!

Def over priced but it’s the unit I like the best as I am not so keen on the DD this time round and I tend to stick to my decisions and get on with it...Just another receipt to add to the pile for the build. Shocked Andy

I think I might end up going with the Classic JLR unit, it’s the only one I like the look of. Am I right I’m thinking it has no sub outlet? If so what do I need to set it up to run on the LR/Alpine sub?

Cheers
Col

I don’t have the factory sub by have the same alpine just powered and fed from the rear speakers. My HU is on its way from Robin with TNT so will fire it in and see. Andy

Cheers Andy. I’ve got the LR sub with focal speakers all round and the alpine HU and the sound is superb. I don’t want to lose the sound quality if I can help it.
