Wolf wheels offsets confusion
Hi people
Thinking of buying some wolf steel wheels for my truck cab and looking on eBay the offsets vary for example some sellers state ET 20 and some state ET 0 how do these different offsets effect the look on the vehicle.
Take care all

http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic31672-45.html

as BW posted

Wolf wheels (genuine ones, at any rate) are 6.5 J 16 with an offset of 20.6 mm.

Standard Defender steel wheels are 5.5 F 16 with an offset of 33 mm

Boost alloys are 7 x 16 (not sure of the rim form) with an offset of 33 mm.

The ET0 rims are only wolf 'STYLE' and are not genuine Wolf.

The ET0 Wolf 'style' rim, with say a 255 tyre will put the outside of the tyre on the edge of the wheel spat for a nice wide stance. Benefits: better turning circle, more stable (?); Negatives: more mud over up the sides and some argue more stress on wheel bearings?

4x4tyres will have Wolf Style ET0 in white soon! Whistle

The below photos shows before and after of fitting wheel spacers on Boast alloys. before is ET33 after is roughly ET0. Personally, I like the wide stance and the turning circle is a vast improvement.

Perfect choice of tyres for ET20 Wolfs for the classic look, no disrespect Greeni as I also really love the bigger offset and wider tyres Thumbs Up

None taken Mr. Green
The speeds the v8 trots up to, unlike a vegan, I fancied a bit more meat.

I used to like the ET0 wheels, but went for the ET20 in the end. I now think the ET0 look a bit like a child wearing his dads wellingtons.

sorry, my head's all over the place. I've gone into the garage twice now to check, and got sidetracked.

They're 265/75's.

Hi Greeni having fitted with these ET0 wheels and tyres size265/75, would that cause any trouble for MOT?
