2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Aintree Green

No sound from the radio

I have the standard Alpine Bluetooth head unit which has decided to stop making any noise through the speakers. All buttons and display work as they should, it even says it's connected to my iphone and playing music through that, although there is no sound. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Is there a mute button on these head units?

Problem solved - one of the cables for the rear speakers had rubbed through and was shorting out. That speaker was making a very faint 'pop' every time I turned on the radio.
