Coolant loss and refill procedure?

hiya, After dragging a caravan across France, the 2.2 overheated today, 3 miles from home and needed a yellow taxi to get home. i have no idea yet where the leak is.

i want to refill the coolant, but don't know the refill procedure. Can anybody help?

also any obvious places to check for a leak? V8 90...WIP

Waterpump and radiator hose inc radiator, Look for coolant traces with a bright torch it should be orange in colour if it's anything like the 2.4.
Ensure you don't get it on paintwork or your skin or in eyes - best to be sure and also make sure any leakages are cleared up or kept secure from any animals or wildlife. ____\We|Will|Win/___
