When G said he could beat Dumoulin in the time trial I reckon most folks thought he was joking. I have no doubt whatsoever that he would have but took it easy to secure the jersey.

Also there was something odd with the timing. Dumoulin was down on Froome on every time check and finished 1 and a bit seconds down only for the result to change. All a bit fishy if you ask me.

Bloody brilliant. Well done G. Great performance throughout the three weeks. Given the pressure on Team Sky, given his stage wins, second places, Col attacks etc, (and as pointed out, an ITT that could also have been a win in different circumstances) could it be argued that it was the most complete British Tour win? I think so. Fingers crossed he stays fit and Sky allow him to tackle another GT or two. Bow down Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....
