Travall dog guard with Mantec stowage cages in a Puma 110SW

Hi,
I think I'm going crazy here - anyone successfully fitted both together?
I have the cages fitted already but I don't see how I can get the dog guard to fit.
For the dog guard there are side brackets/arms that project from the rear of the c-pillar quite far into the load area at an angle.
Even if I moved the cages as far back as possible I don't think I could it all back in without hacking or bodging something.
Or maybe it's just never going to work and I should've bought the genuine Land Rover one instead.... Cheers,

2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Santorini Black

I fitted a genuine Land Rover one (about £200 from dealers).

Even then I had to bend the top front end of one of the cages to get clearance.

Thanks zsd-puma, that’s actually somewhat reassuring to hear.
Sounds like it’ll be a pain in the ar$e but hey ho, at least I know it’s not just me
