Air Filter
Does any one know if K&N do a filter for the 2.4 Puma TDCI?
If yes any idea of who stocks them?
If not, is there any other 'performance' make of filter available?

yes i think you can get a k and n ( kev and noisy ) filter from entreque i think
also the itg one is available (imho is crap )
also pipercross do one which i got from ebay which was brand new

although i think a standard filter is the best way to go ?

These filters look interesting, but I am not sure that they worth the money for a "standard" (that is not tuned) Puma. Any feedback?

i personally think that after buying 2 of the 3 there awaist of money they certainly dont make it go any faster and iv proved you can get more air through a standard filter ?

my truck is fully tuned and it makes no difference with a special filter

Oil from these aftermarket filters will often ruin the AMS (air mass sensor) and if fitted will invalidate your warranty.. i read on another forum that the standard Puma filter can cope with 8X the flow the engine needs at full RPM... Says he with an ITG fitted!! 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Personally I don't see the benefit of after market filters other than the life span and that they can be cleaned. As RD said the standard air filter is more than up to the job and is pretty cheap to replace. K&N did a Lab test to clarify certain points on suspected Oil contamination leading to premature MAF sensor failures, it can be read HERE

I agree with Bri. Waste of money for a puma. and a fram air filter is only 18 quid. plus lets face it, they dont need changing that often unless youre in the desert etc.
