Any one know how to increase the tick over on the Puma. No doubt it needs plugging into something ?? but is it a Land Rover / Ford only testbook thing or can the aftermarket products do it.
The dpf rattle on tick over I have had for months now is driving me up the wall just a small increase of revs sorts it. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough. probably easier to fix the rattle.
Increasing the idle will also mean the clutch gets a harder life when it's disengaged/reengaged. |

I'm not up for replacing the dpf, engine mount off, breaking rusty turbo studs ect no thanks. Then there is the cost of a new one owch If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

There is the cold start thing that sits the revs up about 100RPM, but as far as I am aware is automatically initiated on and turned off by the ECU If and when required.
Best people to advise is tuners, Gary @ Alive or Pete @ BAS. Most of these things are possible, but the long term effect needs to be thought about. Off topic and not applicable to you issue but an example; I'm glad my clutch switch is bypassed, except a totally different thing. Gets rid of that arrigivating increased rpm hunting idle in low range. ____\We|Will|Win/___ ____/π¬π§πΊπΈ\____ _//*β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°*\\_ |
