Upgrading to new door lock barrels & Ardcase success
We had a break in last night in my sleepy little cul de sal. My neighbour's Evoque was stolen and my Defender was broken into. Luckily for me, my Ardcase I believe scared them away. It was clear they were only looking for vehicles as my suction mounts and usb power adapters were untouched. And I had a swing away tire carrier sitting in the back waiting for installation.

Unfortunately they did break my driver's side barrel lock. I have old set of locks, but is it worth upgrading to the '02+ locks? Are they any more resistant to a screwdriver?

Now that they know I have a pedal lock, the next step is getting a steering wheel lock.

Sad thing is that myself and and my neighbour were all awake at the time. And my dogs that typically bark at a mouse squeak slept away like babies...

At least you still got it. Now is the time to beef up the security.
Disc lok for steering wheel. Try a x engineering ignition shroud. Anything that puts the scumbags off is worthwhile Thumbs Up

Got the shroud, may end up going the optimill route on the steering wheel.
