Wipers
A question for those in the areas that deal with a lot of snow as it's not the usual problem here in the UK but it has become apparent in the snowy weather.

How do you keep your wipers from icing up and becoming useless every 20 minutes or so?

Heated wipers anyone?!

Www.heatshot.com Whistle

Also works like a charm on the insects in the summer. Truely can recommend it a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

Start by increasing the concentration of your screen wash . Use the concentrated stuff and then you can control it's concentration.

undiluted screen wash looks to be the simpliest and cheapest answer so far, the heated screen doesn't do anything to help, the build up is far too much for such a weak heat source to do anything.

Those heated wipers do look interesting, but what happens when the blades need replacing...$110 to replace both Shocked

I remember someone on here fitted heated jets ( similar to the heatshot ) from a Rangie, i'll have a look and see if that might work as i want to upgrade the jets and fit a second set...

Cheers all Thumbs Up
