It is now ilegal to fit a spare wheel on the bonnet of a new vehicle in the UK.

With AC! Forget it! The Puma bonnet is not strong enough to take the load. Even strengthended it moves far too much up and down....and hits the AC compresser. You could move that to another place with the help of a transit bracket but then you will need new aircon pipes etc.

Why do i know? Trial & Error! WANTED:

I think you would have a problem fitting any form of frame and carrier to a Puma bonnet due to the lack of space above the engine.

I can't see why you'd want the weight of a wheel and tyre on there anyway? John

My local dealer had a TD5 DCPU in Rioja red with a spare 265 on the bonnet and it was up for sale for almost a year when the removed the wheel and carrier and it sold almost the same week.. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
