There should be a military reg number on the build plate, often found on the side of the seat box. You can go online and for a small fee get the record document for the vehicle, which should at least show you which units it was used by. 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

yep, it was a General service vehicle, reg 28fg66 Thumbs Up

It’s called Berlin camouflage, used by the BAOR (British Army Over the Rhine), it was designed for urban fighting and breaks up vehicles outlines very well against a building, another part to it was every vehicle type was painted exactly the same so it was harder for the enemy to guess numbers as each vehicle was hard to identify individually. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html
