Hi Lo select stiff
I find that Hi/Lo select is stiff when cold especially in the winter, it noticeable when trying to shift from either Hi or Lo to neutral any ideas?

I'll add to this slightly, mines also a little difficult to use. No idea if it's normal, been meaning to collar another Puma driver for a fiddle with his sticks to compare.
I often find I have to double clutch to get into low range and either be rolling slowly or have the clutch out a little just to put a tiny amount of pressure on the driveline, but it don't half clunk when it does!

Hopefully someone who's had a few can weigh in.

Mine‘s the same from day one; just thought it was Defender; hi/lo also sometimes fall back to neutral after driving a few yards after changing hi/lo, so usually I keep holding the stick for a while. Another MY 2014 I drove for three weeks felt the same.

That's reassuring. Thanks.
To the OP, I'd put it down to technique. Try the things I mentioned, clutch slightly up and possibly double clutch it when going from N to Hi or Lo.
