2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey

"Monti" ( my new addiction

As I may have mentioned a while ago, I am now the besotted owner of a 1968 S11a called Monti.
Monti is currently a 77000 mile SWB utility in bronze green.

My aim is to restore her to original (Or Near ) condition BUT change the colour and roof.

I have started the process in the engine bay as it was making my skin itch.

The engine was in reasonably good order so has just had a bit of tinkering and setting up done.

I,m chuffed to bits with the result.
I already have a new wiring loom along with period battery and new clutch/brake resi.
She is getting the new tilt and sticks treatment at the weekend, weather permitting.

Looks great, what have you replaced under the engine, I can spot all the pipes...

I'd me tempted to leave the roof on until winter has gone then swap

(I want hood sticks and roof for mine) who will you get them from?

Stacey,
All gaskets , seated valves, new manifold section. various other bits and bobs (temporary carb ) whilst original is being rebuilt.
A already bought an Exmoor trim tilt and sticks.
galvanising is a little horse
