"Chucka chucka" sound after turbo shutdown
I've had Tdi's and TD5's but don't know my new Puma 90 engine's sounds that well yet. after the motor has been switched off and the turbo runs for a couple of seconds still it makes a (not too loud) "chucka chucka chucka" sound. Is this normal or is something "dry" in there that I should have a look at?

If its normal - I'll just enjoy it Whistle

Like a dog panting three times it's the EGR running through it's open close cycle in a vain attempt to keep it operational. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Nope - should there be a beep?

(and sorry for the stupid question - but what does "EGR" stand for?)

Not sure, mine has had a beep since new. Trying to find out if it means there's a problem or not...

I've tried - If I choose Fire LE - which implies "Vesuvius Orange" - nothing is displayed. Error on the site obviously. Who's the boss? - so I can report it

Wow - Cefane mouth. Nice place. We used to go there a lot in the good old days when we were still allowed to drive on the beach.

I am in town - not that privileged. Sad

Where are you?

I now live in Greece and still drive two land rovers to keep me reminded of home.I use to take my river boat down to the cefani mouth. Those were the good days. Why the chocolates banned vehicles from the beaches,I don't know and thats why the rocks have been cleaned out of shell fish and poaching increased. My father inlaw stays out at kayser's beach. Puma 110 SW
