It could be a good project for you and the kids for a lot less of the cost. I designed and built my own Series 2 mini Land Rover for my A-Level Design Technology project - I didn't have much time to do it so not as complex as I would have liked but it was good fun. Once it had been marked I passed it on to a Series 2 Club member who's Grandson is still happily using it to this day. BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group

After looking on re cycled, guntree, ebay, etc etc for a while I found this. Advertised as a Toylander, I'm not 100% it is but looks OK. It needs an engine.... charger / battery then I may add a screen and extras.. I will repaint and fix it up a bit, but at the end of the day my little lad should be made up I think Click image to enlarge

Luckily they have the manual with this and will send it with the car, that's a few quid on its own. Looking at what is currently for sale I think its a good deal. Yes. I'm now searching for a mobility scooter.... with good batteries The things you look for on ebay I never thought I would be searching for one quite yet.... I've been on the toylander website a few time so I knew how much stuff was I'm searching for but your right a lot of bits can still be bought. Even the engine but pricey on that site. So I now own a... 110 Puma SIII 88" SWB Station Wagon Series 2A 'Toylander' Project ooh and a Sankey
