I picked up Millie from my indy today as she had to go in again for another master clutch cylinder Rolling Eyes When she went in for her 6,000 mile service they changed it for a new one as the one in Millie was leaking, so i said to my indy is there any better ones and he said the only other one is a genuine LR one, but it's double the price, so i said we will have to give it go, he did say it was a Girling, so hopefully this will cure the problem Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Nice to see her working in hard! the lads at work are waiting for the snow again, as they thought mine was pure legendary. my supervisor joked, I am going to keep you off line and use you as a taxi in bringing people in with that.

So after doing the first list of jobs i then turned my attention to the back of Millie, so here is the back before the new addition ...................

As i have had the rear facing spot light for a long time, replacing it a few years back for an LED one, is was quite good for when i was up the store getting materials in the Autumn/winter time ( store has no electric fitted ) and reversing in awkward places, i thought it was time to upgrade it as the technology has improved alot, so i got this one ................

The price was right, not too cheap but not to expensive and of course it was the right size for the place it was going to be, so the bits that come with it.......................

Then it was time to go and fit it, the only thing that did not come with it was any type of instructions/info on the light Rolling Eyes

I figured out that the shorter bolt was to attach the bracket to the light and the longer bolt with the nut attaches the bracket to the mounting place, so as i was not pleased with the longer bolt and nut as it was way to small for the hole in the bracket, very moveable, so i got a bigger nut and bolt ......................

Then it was to fix it in place and connect it all up and it all went proper ......................

Well pleased with the out come and it is out the way and not to noticeable there Very Happy

Can't wait to see the full effect when it is dark Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

Liking that. Thumbs Up You might want to update the fixings at a later date to Nylon SS perhaps?
And possibly some small closed cell foam tubing split, and zip tied around the wire edge so there is no injury risk, especially in the corners we all know what wire is like. Laughing

The MOT man is always looking for pointy out bits for obvious reasons.

The two light bars I have on mind have been faultless for the price, cannot fault them so I'm sure you'll have great success abd use from it.
Only thing is the fixings can tarnish, that's obviously due to SS quality of composition.
But for the prices, I don't think that's much to complain about and a few SS fixings costs peanuts.

Looks good, keep up the good work. Thumbs Up Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

There is no need to worry about the MOT guy as he is my indy and has never failed it on those corners Wink 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.
