Has anyone mounted one of the ARB twin compressors inside their Defender, if so where have you put it?
I think I'd like to fit one in to my engine bay but not sure where it would fit! I might be able to fit it under the driver's seat but that's currently full of recovery kit. |

I have been in that situation!
Thing is it's got to go somewhere. The recovery kit would be easy to move in to the back. Easier to get at there. |

What about tucked up behind the rear passenger wheel? It's a pretty big space there on a 110 - I've fitted an air tank of a P38 there for my on-board air setup (uses an air-con pump).
Not ideal in terms of mud and water but I'm sure you could shield / box it in well. If you're not adverse to cutting into the seat-boxes you could always make it accessible from inside the boot via a hatch. Ed 82 Hotspur Sandringham 6x6 95 Defender 110 300Tdi |
