On Tuesday I discovered https://lux365.com/ and placed an order for some LED fluorescent tube replacement. Excellent service, and the new tubes work well - instant light

. The 1.8m tube wasn't packed properly so didn't survive its journey with DPD, but they've now sent another and arranged for DPD to collect the bent one.

If you're looking for a very thin light source (8mm) for use in a low headroom garage https://lux365.com/integral-600x600-38w-4000k-led-panel.html looks to give a lot of lumens for not much cash. You'd have to fashion a way to attach it to the ceiling/wall but that should be very simple. And unlike many LED panels the price includes the driver. I'm thinking about getting a pair to install on the walls of my garage pit.

OK so thanks for all the feedback

Funny enough I work close to the maintenance people at work and asked one of the guys what they would recommend..

Turns out they have been changing the LED bulbs for ones with battery back up and had this 'spare'

Brand new, 4000K twin tube... must be 5ft

I need to wire it to a switch but its in and up and bright

I have Light in my Garage !!!
