I'm just going to wire them separately from the reverse circuit all together .
I have a blank switch so I will install a new switch on the blank space and take feed from a spare fuse somewhere or direct from the battery and install a fuse down there . I only intend using them when I am at the back of the vehicle getting changed into my waders and getting set up at the fishing .Or if I am reversing in the total darkness up some forest road or offroad completely . I also plan to upgrade my interior lights to the cree LED bulbs - I see them on ebay . 2006 DEFENDER 90 TD5 CSW XS 2018 RANGE ROVER SPORT HSE DYNAMIC |

I fitted the Mud interior LED light units front and rear in my 110 and they are fantastic. I was so impressed that I fitted three more into my Disco 2.

I think in the current situation then a) you would have to be very unlucky to actually find yourself parked next to a police car, let alone a traffic car and b) any of the few police officers still employed would be so busy that a none standard reversing light would be the least of their concerns even if they knew the relevant legislation.

Busy eating burgers probably.
I have 2 x Labcraft lights as per the pic. ISTR I paid about £70 a piece & they are excellent. May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful. |
