Cheers, fingers crossed it does make a difference Cool

I was kinda hoping all the Puma bugs would have been ironed out by now .... Laughing

From what I have learnt today you should not worry about it as it doesn't solve the issue but just masks it.

I could be wrong but for an example when mine was about 7 months old it had one of these updates and though seemed to have more grunt than before it however ran much rougher since. If I was to have the option I would go back to how it was.

This said I may collect it tomorrow, drive it for a week and be totaly blown away by the improvement and better running in general. If this is the case I will of course report back on this thread to what a worth while dealer upgrade it is but please don't put a weeks wages on it.

Boy, which dealer did you end up using? One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
+ New Defender 110 First Edition

The clowns down your way but I did not really have a choice as the leaky roof needed to be fixed and Marshalls at Bedford could not do it and the next nearest was Peterborough. I could not spare the time off to do drive to Peterborough for an assessment then another visit to drop it off for the work to be done so I had no choice but to go to Hartwell’s.

Oh I need two track rod ends and they want £305 for them to be done, no warranty as it’s is void because of the 285 tyres Laughing Laughing Rick Mason (RM Motors is going to do them for me next week).
