[For Sale] Oztrail Mitchell double swag
For sale: Oztrail Mitchell double swag.

The Aussies favourite tent/sleeping bag thing! My wife bought his back from Perth last year and we've had a load of fun using it as an alternative to our roof tent. They really are the next best thing after a RTT as they have a built in 2'' thick foam mattress in the base.

It's really well made from rip stop canvas and is a quality bit of kit, zips and seams are all heavy duty and built to last. You can use it with the three poles provided as hoops, or Aussie trucker style as a big bivvie bag. We've used it in all weathers and it's completely waterproof and doesn't suffer from any condensation.

This is a double so big enough for two adults with some wiggle room. The whole top rolls back and exposes the seperate fly sheet, so you can have the fly up and look at the stars at night which is cool

The trade off is that it's massive- definitely for vehicle camping only. Fits in a 90 diagonally, better in a 110. It even fits in a C63 coupe if you fold the back seats down.

We are starting to do some bike packing so looking to change to the other end of the spectrum and get something ultra lightweight.

£250. Collection from Forest of Dean but do travel around a bit.

James
