wipers-2008 Puma

Just noticed that the "ultra-fast" wipe doesn't work on a 2008 Puma. Wipers move once then stop.
Intermittant works
Wash/wipe works.
Normal speed works.
Don't use the ultra fast action much but I just wondered if it's a sign that something is on the way out. Any ideas? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
