Don't worry they're still there. I'm always slightly un-nerved with large groups of youths and my Land Rover. Maybe I'm being over protective  An engine to TDi for!

Sound like me Pete.
Anyone under 21 I treat with great suspicion anywhere near it. With just cause two little oiks were actually going to try and nick my valve caps off till they got caught in the act. 
Lightbulbs now that's a subject. Why is something so simple so difficult to find and get hold of in the correct rating. Or one that looks stupid or one that takes ten minutes to light up like a candle. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Don't get me started on the energy saving light bulbs. You walk in a room looking for something so only need the light on for a moment. By the time you've waited for the bulb to light up, you've forgotten what you went in for

Rain!
Week and a half of nice weather just go to start an outdoor job yesterday and now it won't stop coming over with showers on and off. You think it's all clear and it rains over again. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Yep, damned rain. Just about got the sausages cooked when out on the Plain this afternoon when another one of those April Showers soaked me

Is that salisbury plain per chance? if so, wet out there isn't it? I was out there last night... very slippery (and fun!) in places. |

Oh yes, very slippery. There were a couple of the water puddles that weren't really avoidable without making more of a mess getting out of the ruts. I can forsee a few weekend warriors getting caught out tomorrow, they're only puddles not water traps but we all know how common sense seems to desert some people when driving

Why is it when you go to H**f**ds to buy three items they only keep two of the items in stock and you need the missing one to connect the other two together.
Wanted to do some Waxoiling........pressure can in stock, pump not kept in stock, clear plastic tube in stock. Blank look from assistant when I asked how would he suggest I apply the stuff, young female assistant standing close by come up and suggested I use a paint bursh as they have them in stock. I give up now looking for somewhere in North Yorkshire that can do it for me. |

COURIERS!
Agggggggghhhhhhh courier drivers! Had a packet 2.54metres long to be collected. Driver refused to collect it saying it was too long. Just managed to find their maximum permissable length
According to my tape measure 2.54m is shorter then 274 cms! Fedex = Fedex. Don't get me on about Parcel FARCE Yes the goods are in the country but Parcel Farce have them so I may get them by June if I am lucky. Guess who is a disgruntled Brendan |
