No, unless the spacer is thin enough for the hub spigot to have a reasonable engagement in the wheel centre bore.

Not really, there are a few well known ones like terrafirma but I haven't got anything to gauge what is good vs bad at the moment. 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW
