Just had a look. Is the job so difficult that it is XXX rated as I don't have any pictures. Are they hard enough for mere mortals to make them disturbing? ![]() I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Tried this, rare as rocking horse s*€$, and none a complete set...also, by the time I had most of the pieces pulled together and then added the nex bits to complete the kit, I wasn't far off new. For me, knowledge or new with associated guarantees made up for the £300+ difference. Have had to wait an extra year but hope (when fitted) it will be worth it ![]() I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

That's because the air never really heats up in northern countries like it does further south. No good opening flaps and windows down here in summer, even at night, all you'd get is blasted by hot air and snot bugs. Full insulation, tinted glass, windows firmly closed and air on on, lovely and cool

Yes, in Aussie, I wouldn't wanna be driving a Defender without A.C.
At anything over 30C, it can get pretty warm inside, and at 35-40 it would be "quite warm" inside. Now, the Puma A.C. ain't perfect, but we've been out in around 40C, and in our 90, it copes reasonably well,..in a 110 with a few people on board I don't know, maybe not so well, but certainly better than nothing. Enjoying the weather Riverboy ![]() Did you notice a difference pre/post insulation with view to how cool the cabin is, AC on or off? Coming down for the Étape, Briancon-Col d'Izoard, July 16th. Anywhere near you? Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Blimey no, is that even the same country?
![]() I hate summer here, I dont cope with heat well at all. I love spring and autumn and even though winters can be very cold, they are at least short. Really its mid/late December to early March. The insulation made a huge difference yes. Even when the Defender has been sat in full sun all day its still bearable inside. Before I had it done you couldn't get in without running the A/C for 20 minutes. |
