 All obligatory vehicle lights have to be type approved by law. By replacing a standard filament bulb with a LED cluster you are doing an unauthorised modification and so are invalidating the type approval. The best thing to do is replace the complete light unit with a correctly E marked brake and tail light. Brendan | ||

| o4dn Member Since: 08 Jan 2010 Location: South West Posts: 602      | Hi Brendan, I don't disagree, but I was merely gauging the water as I reckon complete LED lights are silly price, for what it actually is... (there is no more than a few pennies in electronic components inside).
