2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
Photos from Picadilly Pay & Play today
Well, back from Picadilly Pay & Play. It turned out to be VERY wet/ muddy/ sticky over there today and most cars going round were specially set up for the job - i.e., trailered there, extreme MT tyres, no bodywork left, or bashed to pieces! The organiser said not to go round as all he was doing was towing out even those on more 'normal' MT tyres. A bit dejected we pulled our wellies on to have a walk round, and to be honest there is no way we'd have made even the first 500 yds - it was like a battle scene from the Somme! We had a really good time though - the deeper we got in to the place the madder it got. We were chatting to a bunch of guys who do lots of Pay & Plays and they said they'd never see anything like this one. In their group of 5 cars (Suzuki/ Disco2/ classic RR/ Shogun/ Defender) they took quite a few hits - and broke a winch Shocked It was very tough... We'll be back in April when it's drier though - most damage seemed to happen where cars got stuck in mud and then slid in to trees once they got going!! It was a lot of fun, and the organisers were a nice bunch - will definitely go back Thumbs Up

Hopefully a few pics below...
