Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
Adventure edition for sale - a Nakatanenga mods show case
Just turned up for sale here in Switzerland. Orange Adventure 110 with 11.500 KM on the clock for the pricely sum of CHF 168.500 (give or take £135.000).
Seems Nakatanenga did a bit of work on this one. Whistle Details in the PDF.

Let's see how fast this gorgeous finds a new home. Will have to be someone who doesn't bother about leaving a Celebration edition more or less standard. Laughing
Eric

Nice, but is it just me thinking the suspension is a wee bit low for the 285/75s?

Full cage and winch = mass ... Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

What a shame.. beautiful truck ruined and owner deluded into thinking it's worth more with all that crap bolted on.

For example, What is the point of the side repeater protectors ... side repeaters £10, protector £40 Rolling Eyes

Six figures indeed even in £, and all before the comma. My guess is that even a 50% price drop is not going to attract buyers. Such dramatic mods are almost unsalable here. There is much more done under the skin than what we see in the pictures, details in the German language PDF. My guess is that it will require at least a 60% price drop, if not more, before someone would even start looking at this. There are still quite a few new or almost new standard Celebration Editions for sale here at more reasonable prices, and even those don't move easily. Certainly not those three Autobiography editions offered by spec buyers for ages now.

It makes me think back of that tasty looking grey Adventure 110 edition with a showcase of nice Entreq mods. That was initially also offered for sale at a price reflecting the full mods cost, but it took months and a 30% price reduction before it found a home. So cost of mods were swallowed by the seller. The link to that one below.

Mulder, it has adjustable air suspension, there's a pic of the control unit.

I like it Thumbs Up possibly what the adventure model should've looked like from the factory or there abouts. Still, massively expensive though! Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful!

Ahhh, yes I see what that remote does now - learned something new Thumbs Up

in a certain sense, my comment still stands though (?) - the suspension is (IMHO) too low, in that third to last picture Question Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

Well its a lot nicer than the very basic Adventure model but its still that orrible orange Rolling Eyes

I know my local Indy has had a few factory standard orange Adventure 90's through in the last year or so and they tend to go for between 50 - 60K Euro for an "as new" one, but dont sell quickly like other models. I just dont see anything special about the Adventure, or the Heritage come to that. They're so basic just in a different colour.

I like it, it's the best looking Adventure I've seen.

If it was £100,000 cheaper it would be a reasonable buy!

Blackwolf,
It must have sold at the time, but just reappeared on the second hand market now.
Asking price coming closer to your idea now, not CHF 168.000 anymore, but "only" CHF 115.000 now. Mileage increased from the then 11.500KM to 14.000KM now though.
If the previous buyer paid anywhere close to the former asking price, quite a depreciation for owning it for 2.500KM I think. Whistle
