If it's been standing it may have some valves stuck?
Take the rocker covers off and turn it over watching the valves go up and down.

I take it you have a good spark at the plugs? 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

I would also try flushing all the old fuel out and just use brand new stuff.

Did you change the oil too?

Have you checked the spark with the plugs out of the head?

Have you tested the injectors or is it a carb?

Is it firing at all or just just turning over?

Also if it's on carbs, worth checking float needles are not stuck?
They don't like standing for that long, worth giving them a good strip down and clean out. Thumbs Up 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

I just injected some fresh fuel into the carbs and crank it over, a small syringe is good for that. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html
