Towing electric loom socket type

Good afternoon all,

I am currently changing my towing electrics to 13 pin using the genuine LR kit. When I removed the 7 pin loom it snapped a few of the pins off inside the plug on the loom side due to corrosion.

This is the towing electric side - I'm after the other part that is part of the main loom

Does anybody know the name/type of plug on the loom? I would rather fit a new plug than solder/join

Ask PaulMc - he may have a source of the pins (your best bet rather than a full connector shell)

Loom plug arrived yesterday from Paul

. Will be fitting it this week some time. As I don't have the correct crimping tool, are there any recommendations for a work around? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

What type of crimping tool do you need grafty ? Clayton.

As it's a hybrid connector there are two sized connectors. They are similar to the pins in the lighting plugs
