[For Sale] 110 hicap 300tdi galvanised chassis. I built this for work as I wanted the ultimate work truck, however a week before I finished it, I was offered a job which has entailed a complete change of career and this hicap is surplus. My partner won't drive it as it's too big and too nice, I took my new job in November and am now working away, I haven't needed the hicap and as such it is just sat here idle. I have driven it ten miles since November. It is absolutely unmarked, not a scratch on it, nothing has ever been put in the butt! It's a 110 hicap, built to 2006 rest of world 300tdi spec with plastic tank and facelift dash panels / instruments. It was originally a v8 hicap, however I purchased a complete 1996 90 with 65276 miles on it as a donor vehicle, and rebuilt the hicap from the ground up replacing everything. In my opinion it is the ultimate go anywhere, do anything, last forever working vehicle. I have spent thousands of pounds and thousands of hours on it. Every steel bracket and fitting has been shot blasted and hot zinc sprayed. The brand new bulkhead had the same treatment, as did the wolf rims. Every single nut bolt and washer on the vehicle is new. All external fasteners are genuine LR. It has been sprayed inside and out with 2015MY LR Fuji white base / 2k clear coat to match the takeoff reartub. Many thousands of pounds later I have a future proof 2006 spec 300tdi 110. Most people who see it think I have purchased a new one. It is not to be confused with a second hand dealer tarted up truck. New 2015 Richards 110 galvanised chassis New late 2015 build late td5 bulkhead (was on back order from Duckworths until LR did a run of them at the factory) shotblasted and hot zinc sprayed New take off 2014MY Fuji white Hcpu rear tub and all new brackets (Roger Young). Tailgate yet to receive the obligatory tow ball dent that every hicap has! New take off 2014MY Fuji white rear bulkhead (Keith gott) New 2016 Puma doors (Duckworths), with all new genuine channels, latest seals, Puma innards / S/h Puma doorcards New 2016 Puma bonnet (Duckworths) New take off grille / surrounds - mentally tallying up in my head the above new genuine body parts alone cost me £6000 and that was with a good discount! New front wings sides and sills (SP) Mint S/h undented truck cab roof. Rear window rebuilt with new rubber seals / runners New windscreen and all rubbers and body seals Mint S/h Tdci front rad panel, new take off grills and surrounds New take off tdci hcpu tow bracket and electrics New take off 2014 plastic fuel tank, tray and strap blasted and zinc sprayed. Brand new 300tdi spec fuel pickup. Correct plastic tank to 300tdi plastic qr fuel pipes. New galvanised bumper. All running gear bar rear axle / prop shaft taken from low mileage (65276 miles with all service history) but rotten 1996 defender 90 I purchased from Isle of Wight specifically as a donor. 300tdi engine 65276 miles, new cam belt kit, rear oil seal, leakoffs, airtex water pump, p gasket, intake gasket. New Delphi lift pump. New clutch, hd arm,spring assisted pedal, new Delphi/ap hydraulics. Completely standard engine / inj pump and not fiddled with in any way. Proper genuine Lr copper 300tdi radiator, allisport standard size intercooler and Samco hoses. New full exhaust. Ashcroft rebuilt R380, Lt230 65276 miles with cross drilled input and all seals replaced. Front axle 300tdi rebuilt and painted, with teflon swivels, all new seals. New Vented discs, new calipers with stainless pistons, disc sheilds zinc sprayed Rear axle Salisbury from 300tdi 110, rebuilt and painted, disc braked, new discs, calipers s/s pistons, half shafts, disc shields. New Bailey Morris rear prop shaft. New Supergaz dampers. New front Hd spec standard springs. 300tdi radius arms polybushed, a frame ball joint. Recon 300tdi steering box, new drop arm. New steering joints. New hd steering bars. 3 piece steering guard, new diff guards front and rear new Cunifer brake lines, new servo, new goodridge hoses. Genuine tubeless wolf rims, shotblasted and zinc sprayed, with brand new MT tyres. Interior Complete late td5 dashboard inc centre dash panel all mint condition, from accident damaged late td5, correctly wired and all fully operational inc heated seats. Proper 300tdi wiring loom with new chassis / rear tub wiring loom. S/h mint 2014 XS leather steering wheel. Td5 full dash instrument panel properly wired to 300tdi. Brand new speedo now showing 10(!) miles. New take out heated Tdci seats in black mondus cloth, heaters wired up correctly with genuine or switches and connectors and working. New take out centre tray Genuine Puma black doorcards New genuine ignition barrel, new genuine tdci door handles and matched locks, one key fits doors and ignition. Td5 seatbox battery box and under seat box blasted zinc sprayed. New galvanised yrm sills. New take off tdci seatbox rubber matting New td5 gearbox/ floor matting one piece. S/h mint td5 bulkhead rubber matting. The only non standard parts are diff guard front and rear, 3 piece steering guard, hd steering bars and gas dampers. Otherwise all standard LR parts. I have priced it at £12995, which may seem expensive for a work truck, but try buying one with a brand new chassis and bulkhead or building one to this spec, bearing I mind the vast majority of the body is new. I would consider swap / px for a 90 wolf for my other half. Located south west Cornwall. Click image to enlarge
