Is it possible using the genuine Loom for a lazer work light to wire it so i can have a switch on the dash and one somewhere accessible from the rear door?
I have purchased the utility 80 to mount on the rear of the rack for a work light / reversing light... so would be ideal if possible, have 4x LR spot switches too use, one for each of my 3 LED's and then the 4th i planned as a additional work light switch...? Kind regards. Everything is going to be ran / fused by a bluesea safetyhub 150 too... |

Would it be as simple as splicing two switches into the system?

It's certainly possible to do what you've described, although 'splicing two switches in' doesn't really cover it.
In order for it to work in such a way that you could turn it on at the dash and then wander around to the back and turn it off, you'll need two ON-ON switches wired in series on the power feed to the lamp. This is much the same as light switches in a house at the top and bottom of the stairs. If you want something a bit more sophisticated such as automatic operation when selecting reverse or using non-latching push buttons, then the circuit gets a bit more complicated. There are lots of variations of how it can be done depending on exactly how you want it to look and operate. Hmm, my plan was just to have it activated at one switch at a time,
I.e. if i'm reversing just hit the switch on the dash, if i've come back from a ride open the rear door and hit the switch.. i don't think id need it like you describe upstairs and downstairs lighting but if this isn't too complicated would also be nice... i had planned to use LR switches to control the work light... |

Ah, ok. That'll work; it's just not very elegant
As I say, there are lots of different ways of doing this, depending on exactly what you want. For example, here's a circuit that allows for a switch on the dash but automatic operation when selecting reverse: Click image to enlarge The 'dash switch' could be mounted in the rear instead, which would achieve what you want.
