Well after wakening twice in six days or should that be nights , hearing voices outside then seeing two black shapes near to my 110 I had become paranoid about the safety of the 110 so I bit the bullet.

Tracker upgraded and possible a second one going in just cannot decide which.

Now to get to the point.
Have had two Hikvision cameras installed along with recorder. The quality during the day is brilliant colour. The black and white night vision is superb. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Recently bought an Arlo kit and returning it due to not performing even close to how they make out in the advertising blurb. Great idea, but needs a lot of work!

I went with ucam247 for a wireless hd system. http://www.ucam247.com/
Great daytime vision, night vision ok if used inconjuction with a security light coming on. Suffers from recording spiders, moths and rain at night. I use it with a mini wireless hd drive and it's spot on for my needs

Worth checking out LIFX A19 light bulbs too, if you can get them in a waterproof housing. They have an IR mode to help Night viz CCTV systems. Works with Nest Cam etc too
