Regional differences
During the course of this week I've been working for the same company, one office in central London and another in Liverpool. Each has a cafe. The one in London has Greek pop up offerings and a range of fancy dishes every day. The one in Liverpool had fish and chips and pie (no description, just pie) and chips and gravy. Best lunch all week Thumbs Up

Fish and Chips, Pie and chips with gravy, that's proper food, you can keep your Greek food! For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I have to cook low fat oven chips and steamed cod, with peas, for tea tonight, as per swmbo. I have to do the cooking as partner is disabled, just would love to go to chippy and get some real deep fried fish and chips !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Salivating at the thought !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you guys drink much coffee over there or is it primarily tea? I drink about 24 ounces of coffee every morning.

Lol, yes fluid ounces. Lately I've been contemplating roasting my own coffee beans. A lot of people do it and apparently a simple convection oven is all you need.

Coffee all day for me.
Went down south (Bournemouth) November last year and on the chippy menu, pickled eggs, Gherkins, and Saveloy. Apparently gravy on chips is not the norm - how odd. 1999 Defender TD5 110
