United Kingdom 2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Aintree Green
Headlight issue
Low mileage 2014 Puma - Driving along the headlights (normal bulbs) intermittently dim slightly and then return to normal, only a brief second or two. Doesn't seem to be engine rev dependent! No warning lights in the cab.

Anybody have a clue where to start looking for the cause

Either the headlight switch or indictor switch would be the prime culprits. They have a habit of melting the plastic that the contacts are embedded in, which means they move in and out of position as it heats and cools. Take the steering column cowl off and have a look for signs of discoloured plastic. Darren
