anyone renovating a house and need a Loft Access Panel , I purchased one and did not use it because it had a very small dent cause by the delivery company, the dent wont show up in photographs and it could be used as is or filled and painted.
It is all steel has an insulated door and fits a hole 520 x 740 mm. I replaced it with another exactly the same that I got as a replacement from the manufacturer. If anyone wants the original you can have it for £30 which only covers my petrol and time collecting the replacement.(didnt want to trust the courier again) I would highly recommend this company in terms of product and customer service, they just use a poor courier. I will make a £5 donation to def2 if it sells on here, and would prefer some one picks it up or I can deliver locally by agreement Below is a copy of the correspondence with the supplier regards the original price. The rear of the metal door tray is fitted with 65mm thick, foil backed insulation board with a thermal conductivity value of 0.023 W/mK. A 50mm wide picture frame surround is provided for retrofit. This enables the panel to be inserted directly into the clear structural opening and screw-fixed into position through the side of the panel frame. Specification Manufactured from 1.2mm thick Zintec Steel frame and 1.0mm thick Zintec Steel door tray with polyester powder coating of matt white RAL 9010 20% gloss.
