I have had a pair of these on my 110 for several years now and have been very pleased with them, the quality cannot be faulted. They're just powder-coated (not galvanised) but seem to be lasting very well, far better than either my Patriot rack or Mantec winch bumper. I have no hesitation in recommending them. |

I've got these on my 90, good bit of kit, well made and chunky. Only thing to bare in mind is that rock sliders sit pretty high compared with side steps, so don't really work for that purpose, still require a bit of a jump to get onto them! |

I have the set from rock-sliders.co.uk.
Well made, very good fit- my passenger side one took a good smack earlier this year on a boulder and there is very little damage other than a scrape in the powdercoating. The only downside for me is that the powdercoat is already looking pretty rough 2 years on..... Chris |

We use, some say abuse, and sell the Safari Equip R + T sliders.
They have saved our vehicles from other car users in car parks, demolished concrete bollards with them and have done their job off road against rocks etc. They come hot dipped galvanised with jacking points as standard. Scrape the powder coating off and they will not rust! Edited to add, we also do tread steps here Brendan |

I also have the set from rock-sliders.co.uk and after 3 years on a 110 used everyday they are still looking good.

I am pretty sure that the rock and tree sliders sold by Extreme4x4 are made by Safari Equip

Mine came from Paddocks about 7 or 8 years ago and have proved to be robust and long lasting. Galvanised under powder coat, they've absorbed bumps and scrapes and me pivoting on them round trees.
They weren't hugely expensive and have proved to be very good value for money. I don't know if the ones they sell now are the same ones but if they are I wholeheartedly recommend them. Mo The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen. 50 Shades of Pennine Grey |

Interesting have just had a quick look at the Paddocks site and they do offer a wide range of R + T sliders.
One thing which struck me was that some were described as zinc plated and others as galvanised. There is a big difference between zinc plating and hot dip galvanised. Zinc plating is zinc deposited by electrical current whereas galvanising is dipping the object into molten zinc.
Just google zinc plate v galvanising. Safari Equip gear is hot dipped galvanisied which has an orange peel appearance. Yes they have to retap threaded holes. Brendan |

Mine are definately galvanised Brendan, not zinc plated and passivated. They've had the paint scraped off and repainted many times 😊
