Where do I start?

Start at cheapest end?

Cheapest solution is some plywood and angle and use some of the bigger Really Useful Storage boxes from Staples. However these boxes are not so robust as Wolf/Hannibal boxes.

The genuine Wolf boxes used to have a high rise lid on them and they are no longer readily available in the UK. The Hannibal boxes have a low level top and I have a slight concern that these boxes are not quite the same as the Wolf boxes. Will have to get around to do an actual like for like comparison.

Ex army ammo boxes? Cheapish but very robust and heavy. Opening inside vehicle might be problematical

Then there is a guy who trades under the Bare Box brand. Do a google search

Then there are the proprietary storage units such as MSS, Black Widow, Safari Equip

MSS is probably the most well know. Change of owners in 2009. Well made but main boxes are only as high as wheel arches. Topped in chequer plate. This means things slide around easier and can be a pain to clean.

Black Widow stuff is imported by Boab and is certainly not cheap. Aussie made stuff is normally very well made.

Think Flatdog might be importing Front Runner system from South Africa. Worth a check

Safari Equip units are higher then wheel arches so can store more in drawer. Plywood/carpet top so things dont slide around as easy as on chequer plate. Am trying to get photos/prices/details of them.

A friend had the complete back of his 110 customed made so would form a sleeping platform

lrmaniac, with the double cab just make a big big drawer style box and slide it out onto your talegate, simple.

Mobile Storage Solutions does a draw that allows your spare wheel to stay where it is, or if you move it out you can put in one of those boxes where the lid opens (Like I have).
