This might be common knowledge but I've only just found it (my boss interrupted a job I was in the middle of to show me ). A series of funny reviews and commentaries about vehicles (not just Land Rover) that also raise some valid points.
Land Rover: http://dogandlemon.com/sites/default/files...141215.pdf
Quote:Older Land Rovers – the ones that are actually used offroad by people who aren’t yuppies – never really die. That has been their traditional strength; somehow or other, older Land Rovers almost always limp home. Which, by the way, doesn’t mean that Land Rovers are, or have ever been, especially reliable. They’re more like a troubled marriage that is continually patched up just as it approaches disintegration.
4WD Safety: http://dogandlemon.com/sites/default/files...Safety.pdf
British Cars: http://dogandlemon.com/sites/default/files/british_cars.pdf
Quote:British cars were designed on the precept that suffering builds character. There is no other reasonable explanation for the years of diabolical designs inflicted on the people of Britain and her colonies.
You have to pay for some of their stuff but some is free.
