With a1.2 your gear 1 range will be a longer pull, but going up steep hills is where you loose out to 1.41
You can modify the map for the injection timing to take into account of this ratio change and I still out run the 1.41 on the hill climb once I'm past gear 2. Speedo healer is for the cc to work because now with 18%reduction the ecu finds the speed and rpm outside of its limits and will not engage the cc. So all you need is to correct the feed going to the ecu and not the speedo. A remap with a large intercooler, vgt and a 1.222 works great wonders. I'm on 235/85/16, which gives it quite a bit of agility. The defender has migrated, leaving the owner behind. |
